Kerala Blasters FC (KBFC), an Indian Super League club, on Monday, announced the appointment of Team India wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson as their brand ambassador. Sanju will “represent the club and its values on and off the field,” the press release states.
It is expected that the selection of the well-known cricketer, who is from Thiruvananthapuram, as the brand ambassador of the Indian Super League (ISL) football team will win over fans of both sports in the region.
The new brand representative for Kerala Blasters FC is not a football player. Sanju Samson, an Indian cricketer, seals a contract with the football squad on Monday.
Samson, a talented and well-known cricketer from Kerala and the captain of the Rajasthan Royals of the Indian Premier League (IPL), will represent the team.
My father was a professional football player
His appointment as the brand ambassador of Kerala Blasters will increase his influence because he is an inspiration to many sportspersons in Kerala.
Sanju expressed his excitement at the appointment and said, “I have always been an avid football fan. As my father was a professional football player, football has always been a sport close to my heart. I am honored to be the brand ambassador of Kerala Blasters FC.”

Sanju is a national icon
When the team plays Hyderabad FC in its last match of the season on February 26, Sanju is anticipated to make his debut as the brand ambassador.
Nikhil Bharadwaj, the director of KBFC, stated that the team is honored to have Sanju, a national legend, join them.
