The Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season is set to commence on September 13, 2024, featuring an exciting opening match between the defending league champions, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, and the ISL 2023-24 Cup winners, Mumbai City FC.
This highly anticipated clash will take place at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata, marking a rematch of last season’s thrilling final.
On Sunday, the ISL released the schedule for the first 84 matches of the season, which will run through the end of December. This season introduces 13 teams, including the newly promoted Mohammedan Sporting Club, who earned their spot by finishing atop the I-League standings.
The ISL 2024-25 season will run from September 13, 2024, to May 4, 2025. The league will feature a total of 132 matches, with each team playing 22 matches in a home-and-away format.
