Brazilian and Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr. has been the subject of racial trolls and abuse for a long time now. The 22-year-old young and talented midfielder has now blasted out at the football league La Liga for not doing anything about racism.
After Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Valladolid, Vinicius Jr. was subjected to racial abuses and trolls.
“Racists keep going to games and watching the greatest club in the world up close and La Liga continues to do nothing,” said the 22-year-old midfielder.
“I will carry on with my head held high and celebrating my victories and those of Madrid. In the end, the fault is mine,” he added.
Vinicius Jr. has played 132 matches for Real Madrid and has netted 31 goals for the Los Blancos. He also played for the reserve team of Real Madrid, Real Madrid Castilla in 2018.
