Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Grand Finals Details, Teams, Dates

The organizers have finally annnounced the 16 finalists of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024. The Grand Finals, which will take place offline in Hyderabad, Telangana, from June 28 to June 30, 2024, will feature the top eight teams from each of the Semifinals Weeks 1 and 2. 

Over the course of 18 matches, they will compete against one another for a piece of the massive Rs. 2 crore prize fund.

The winning team of the BGIS 2024 will get a cash reward of Rs. 60 lakh. The first and second place finishers will receive Rs. 30 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh, in that order. 

Each of the bottom four teams will earn Rs. 2.5 lakh, while the top player will take home the Rs. 2.5 lakh MVP award.

Throughout the first week of the Semifinals, Global Esports performed well. Their two young players, Slug and Beast, made an impression with their aggressive style of play. 

The well-liked IGL player Mavi has been crucial to the team’s success in reaching the Finals. The brigade under Mavi will work hard to win the BGIS championship.

With a stunning comeback in their last Semifinals Week 1 matches, Team Aaru advanced to the championship round. Playing aggressively, Team XSpark, captained by their youngest star, Shadow, appeared to be in peak shape. 

Their three athletes, Sarang, Ninjajod, and SprayGod, have excelled in the competition thus far.

In their prior India Series phases, Team Soul, which signed the former Blind Esports roster in January 2024, played with confidence and maintained their domination. 

The Manya-led team, who won the BMPS Season 2 last year, will try to win their second official trophy in a succession.
