BGIS The Grind, a four-week competition that saw 225 invited teams battle for 64 spots in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024, concluded on April 28. There were sixteen seats available for Round 4, sixteen for Round 3, and thirty-two for Round 2.
The fourth round, which is set for May 23–26, 2024, will see the top 16 teams progress.
A total of 64 teams, comprising 16 from The Grind and 48 from Round 3, will compete in BGIS Round 4. At this point, Krafton will split these teams into four groups.
The top four teams from each group’s six games advance to the semifinals. The 48 teams that are left will advance to the Wildcard Entry round.

In The Grind, Revenant Esports was outstanding, especially in their final three games. After six games, the seasoned group—which most recently featured PUNKK—was the only one to reach the 100-point milestone on the scoreboard.
In BGIS 2024, the Sensei-led team will aim to maintain their excellent performance.
In The Grind, Team Forever also made a significant return after the addition of BGMI pro MJ to their group last month.
The Owais-led team put up a strong performance the whole competition to take second place. The crowd favorite Team Soul kept up their rhythm and finished third.
The performances of Tense Esports, Hyderabad Hydras, and ESCN were equally outstanding.
In The Grind, GodLike Esports made a highly anticipated return and took seventh place. The team intends to carry on under the captaincy in BGIS 2024. On the scoreboard, RIP Mizo and Cratic Esports were ranked eighth and ninth, respectively.
