96 Indian BGMI teams will compete in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series, otherwise known as BMPS 2023, an official BGMI event, which gets underway on November 22. 

This esteemed competition’s inaugural season took place in the middle of 2022, with 24 teams competing for a whopping ₹2 crore in prizes. 

For the second edition, Krafton has lowered the prize money to ₹1 crore and decided to hold the BMPS 2023 in two stages: the league stage and the grand finals.

A ₹40 lakh grand prize will be awarded to the BGMI team that wins the BMPS 2023 trophy.

Team SouL, a well-liked BGMI team, won the BMPS 2022. In the next season, the team led by Omega will aim to retain the championship.

Conversely, a number of BGMI teams will be vying for the inaugural Pro Series championship.

Since this is the final official match of the year, every team will put up their best effort to win the BGMI Pro Series and have a successful year-end.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2023 (BMPS 2023) League Stage Format

96 BGMI teams have been evenly split into 12 groups by Krafton for the league stage, which lasts three weeks. 

Group Blue refers to the first through sixth groups, and Group Red refers to the remaining groups. Each will compete alone in a round-robin style.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series’ league stage will begin on November 22 and go until December 9, during which each player will play in 15 matches.

Teams will also receive additional points every week depending on where they are on the weekly leaderboard. Every week, groups will also be rearranged.

To advance to the second and final round, teams must maintain consistency throughout the first round. 

The top 16 players from the overall leaderboard (Week 1 + 2 + 3) at the conclusion of three weeks will advance to the grand finals.

Every day throughout the BMPS league stage, five games will be scheduled. Three of the matches are slated to take place in Miramar, Sanhok, and Vikendi; the first and fifth are set for the Erangel map.
