The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 registration time has been extended by Krafton till August 6.
It had originally been scheduled to take place from July 24 to August 2. The teams who didn’t register earlier now have another opportunity to do so.
The mega-contest is scheduled to start on August 10.
How to register for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023
The organizer will request certain information from you once you visit the official website of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series, including your name, in-game ID, date of birth, mobile number, and ID proof.
Anyone from India who has an in-game ID that is at least level 25 and Platinum V tier may sign up here.
You may build or join a team to participate in the BGIS after registering individually.
Tournament Format
The In-Game Qualifier, which will be held from August 10 to August 16, will choose the 2048 teams that will go on to the Online Qualifiers.
The second phase will consist of three rounds. 2048 teams will compete in Round 1 from August 31 to September 3.
The 480 teams from the first round as well as the lowest 32 teams from The Grind competition will compete in Round 2.
The top 32 teams from The Grind will be among the 256 teams in Round 3, which will take place from September 14 to 17.
The top 64 finishers advance to the Quarterfinals, while 16 more teams are chosen for the Losers Bracket.
September 21–24 will see four days of Quarterfinal competition, with the best 16 teams moving on to the Semifinals and the worst 48 entering the Losers Bracket teams.
The top 16 teams from the Losers Bracket will be among the 32 teams participating in the last round.
A substantial prize pool of 2 crores has been set aside for the BGIS 2023 competition, of which 75 lakhs will go to the overall winner.
