Battlegrounds Mobile India finally has a release date, and it has overjoyed fans who have waited patiently for close to a year.
Krafton announced today (May 27) about the BGMI download process for both Android and iOS.
For Android users, the game is now available for preload. This means that the ‘install’ option will now show on the BGMI Play Store page.
However, fans of the game will not be able to play Battlegrounds Mobile India even if they install it today. The game will be made available to play only on Monday, May 29.
This has been done by Krafton to ensure that the entire BGMI unban process is smooth and glitch-free.

BGMI on iOS
Unfortunately for iOS users, there is no preload function made available by Krafton in the same manner as it is on the Play Store.
iOS users will have to wait until Monday to download the game. However, this won’t make much of a difference since Android users cannot play the game today, they can only download it.
Once the download is made available on Monday, iOS users can download BGMI.
- To do this, head to the App Store and search for ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India’. Then click on install.
- Ensure that you have sufficient storage space on your device as the game takes up ample space.
- Once the download is complete, launch the game. You will have to download additional resource packs. This will also take up additional space.
- Depending on your device and internet connection, the download may take some time.
- Once the additional resource packs are downloaded, you can begin playing the game.
We are merely two days away from being able to play BGMI, and the excitement levels are at an all-time high!
