The prize pool allocation for the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 tournament was released by Nodwin Gaming on the first day of the competition.
A total of 2.10 crore rupees has been allotted by the organizer for the prize pool, which will be split among 24 teams.
August 4, 2023 marked the beginning of the three-week competition, which would go until August 27, 2023.
The winner of the BGMS Season 2 competition will get a cash reward of one crore rupees. The second-place team will get 35 lakhs as a prize.
Teams that finish third and fourth will get payouts of 12.5 lakhs and 7.5 lakhs, respectively.

- 7th Place – ₹4 Lakh
- 8th Place – ₹4 Lakh
- 9th Place – ₹3.5 Lakh
- 10th Place – ₹3.5 Lakh
- 11th Place – ₹3 Lakh
- 12th Place – ₹3 Lakh
- 13th Place – ₹2.5 Lakh
- 14th Place – ₹2.5 Lakh
- 15th Place – ₹2 Lakh
- 16th Place – ₹2 Lakh

The top four teams from each of the 24 participating teams will go directly to the Grand Finals after competing against one another in the league round.
Teams who finished fifth till the twentieth will proceed to the playoffs. The worst four teams will be ousted from the event while still receiving a reward of Rs. 1 lakh each.
The top 12 teams from the playoffs will be guaranteed spots in the Grand Finals, while the lowest teams will be eliminated from the tournament with a monetary award of Rs. 1.5 lakhs each.
From August 25 to August 27, the 16 finalists will compete for the BGMS Season 2 championship.
