Prior to the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024, Revenant Esports has announced the addition of Ashutosh “Punkk” Singh to their BGMI squad, which will take place on March 29, 2024.
After a year apart, Punkk has reconnected with his former comrades, Sensei and Fierce. During the India Series’ first season, the three members of Team XO contributed to their company’s podium finish.
Punkk was formerly a part of Reckoning Esports, however he had little success throughout his time there. With Revenant Esports, he hopes to regain his characteristic form and accomplish some commendable feats.
Punkk will appear in the role of Sensei’s teammate once more. The club will begin competing in the BGIS Grind on April 4, 2024, entirely set.
Revenant Esports BGMI Roster
The current roster is as follows:
- Sensei – Deepak Negi
- Fierce – Ritesh Nawander
- Aquanox – Harsh Rao
- Blaze – Hamza Khozema
- Punkk – Ashutosh Singh
MJ and Apollo joined the Gujarat Tigers earlier in January 2024, while Aquanox and Blaze joined the team in their stead. Punkk has taken Simp’s position in the lineup after he just departed.
These adjustments were made by the organization in an effort to do better in the BGIS, the first official BGMI competition of 2024.
Since the club’s BGMI debut in mid-2021, Revenant Esports has not had any significant victories despite having elite players on its roster. The group placed eighth in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) Season 2 and seventh in the India Series 2023.
In last year’s India vs. South Korea Invitational, they finished in fifth place.
Following the signing of the well-known combo Blaze and Aquanox, Reveanat Esports won the Upthrust The Multiverse Series 2024. The team led by Sensei secured sixth place in the prestigious ESL Snapdragon Pro Series and fifth place in the Skyesports Championship Series.
Punkk has experience playing alongside Sensei and Fierce, thus he would be a great fit for Revenant Esports. In his former organization, he had demonstrated strong individual performance.
