Treyarch, as most have been anticipating for some time, is getting ready to unveil its most recent game in the Black Ops franchise, which has been in production for a while.
We can now confirm that Call of Duty 2024 is really Black Ops thanks to many people who are aware of Activision’s intentions, but we also have more information about the concept.
Internally, Black Ops “6” is presently widely referred to by codenames; its official name might not be finalized quite yet.
But if we go by Treyarch’s practice, which involved dropping the numeral name for its most recent release, “Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,” the upcoming game may really be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War, which would corroborate some earlier rumors.
Call of Duty 2024 – Black Ops
Several people with knowledge of Activision’s plans claim that Call of Duty 2024 would use the Black Ops name and replicate some of the most dubious military activities carried out by the West in scenarios involving international conflict.
The events of Black Ops “6” will take place during the Gulf War, which was the first significant battle involving a coalition of forces commanded by the United States and Saddam Hussein’s Iraq.
After the Hussein administration invaded Kuwait, U.S. President George W. Bush Sr. and UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher established the strongest coalition of military since World War II and sent soldiers into Iraq along with Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
In addition, it ushered in a new era of extensively broadcast combat. Operation Desert Storm, which became well-known for its real-time coverage, had some of the biggest tank fights in American history and took place before drone warfare.
Black Ops “6” will revert to more classic Black Ops gadgetry and military combat technology rather than the cutting edge technology we’ve seen in Modern Warfare and some other recent Call of Duty games.
Black Ops “6” will make an effort to examine a complex story of the Gulf War, critical of several players involved in the fighting. It will tie up with the conclusion of the Cold War era and examine some of its ramifications.
Grind and WMD, two popular Black Ops levels, will make a reappearance in Call of Duty 2024, according to information that was previously leaked on Twitter. Resurrection of round-based zombie modes is also hinted at via game file leaks.
Call of Duty Black Ops “6” is scheduled to premiere in late autumn or early winter of 2024, as is customary.
