Due to technical issues, the iQOO BGMI India League’s opening day was postponed. Originally, the event was slated to take place across three days, on February 22–24.

Day 1 of the event has been canceled; instead, Day 2 will take place on February 23 and 24. The tournament will take place on February 23 at 4 p.m. and will be broadcast live on iQOO Esports’ YouTube page.

On the first day, all 16 teams and spectators had arrived at the Noida Indoor Stadium; however, ping and internet problems prevented the matches from commencing.

On February 22, the opening match of the day was supposed to start at 4 p.m., however due to player issues, the event had to start at 9 p.m. instead. In the end, the contest organizers decided to cancel the day and would do their best to hold the event over the next two days.

The India League for BGMI will now consist of 14 games as opposed to 18. There will be seven matches every day.

The teams will attempt to play aggressively from the beginning, so it should be an exciting competition. In the case that a 15-point system delivers more placement points, a 10-point scoring structure will be used.
