On May 22, 2024, the Bedrock Edition platforms saw the release of Minecraft Preview 1.21.10.20, which included new and updated tutorials pertaining to in-game movement along with a number of bug and gameplay updates.
Many players will still want to download it to see the new features and bug patches, even though the material isn’t exactly on par with a large experimental release.
Here’s how to download the preview depending on the device you are using:
Xbox
Open the Xbox Game Pass library or the Microsoft Store from your dashboard. Look up “Minecraft Preview” and click to access the related store page. After choosing the install option, the preview ought to be downloaded to your queue.
PS4
Launch the default version of the Minecraft game. From the main menu, select Settings. Click the preview section link at the bottom of the sidebar. Select “Get PlayStation 4 Preview” . Press the “download” button.
Windows PC
Install the game launcher that you downloaded from Minecraft.net. Open the launcher, then choose Windows Edition from the list of games on the window’s left side.
Press the “latest preview” button after clicking the “latest release” button to the left of the install/play button, and then hit the install button.
Android/iOS
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device and go to the game’s page. After you locate the “join the beta” section, scroll down and click the related link. The preview should load the next time you launch the game rather than the full version.
To access the preview on iOS, go to the TestFlight website, download the app from the Apple App Store, and register with your Apple account details. There should be an email on your end. Click “View in TestFlight” after opening it. Click accept if you’re a new tester, and then click the install button.
