Early in February 2024, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) and Warzone are anticipated to release the Season 2 update. Together with the next seasonal patch, Activision will, as per usual, provide a list of new gameplay features that will bring about the required balancing adjustments to give everyone in the community an even playing field.
However, Activision has not formally revealed any information regarding the new release as of the time this article was written.
Both recreational and competitive gamers make up the sizable player bases of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
Expect new diverse skins to emerge in the following season as well, because the introduction of cosmetics and collaboration bundles like The Boys has been a cornerstone of success for both franchises.
Modern Warfare 3 & Warzone Season 2
According to reports, the MW3 and Warzone Season 2 updates will launch on February 7, 2024. But keep in mind that this is only a projection based on past game tendencies. No official release date for the update has been announced by Activision or any of the developers.
Season 2 Battle Pass
Rumored to be the CIA-affiliated Kate Laswell, the Tier 0 and Tier 100 operator was highlighted in MW3’s campaign. This would imply that in addition to additional weapons and operator skins, the character would be offered in BlackCell variations.
This is a list of potential weaponry that will be available in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3:
- FN2000
- ARX-160
A historic weapon, the FN2000 was first introduced as the BP-50 in Vanguard. The ARX-160 has long been mentioned in the game and was supposedly introduced during the first season, however it was left out of the final patch. Still, there’s a good possibility it will show up in the next Season 2 update.
There have been rumors circulating that the upcoming season’s unique weaponry will be a product of the Walking Dead partnership. To further increase the arsenal of weaponry, the developers may also add bow and sword weapons.
