The PUBG Mobile: Speedy Showdown event, which is scheduled for October 27–29, 2023, has been announced by Tencent.
There’s a special close-quarters fighting tournament during the event. Avatar frames and Unknown Cash (UC) will be given to the winner. There will also be lucky draws during this period.
With all the thrilling prizes, the competition may be a great place to demonstrate and hone your close-quarters shooting techniques.
PUBG Mobile Speedy Showdown
The Speedy Showdown event in PUBG Mobile emphasizes swift decision-making and fighting.
You must employ melee weapons and throwables like smoke grenades, frags, shock grenades, and Molotov cocktails because the event is focused on close-quarters combat.
In addition, you can switch to crossbows or utilize vehicles to stomp opponents. You also have to participate in three or more matches on each server.
The Erangel, Sanhok, and Miramar maps of PUBG Mobile will host the matches.
The third-person perspective, or TPP mode will be used during the matches. Additionally, it will be a solo event, meaning that you will be alone on the battlefield and that there won’t be any team battles.
How to participate in the event
There is no registration required to attend the event. Before every match, a dedicated Discord channel will be used to advertise the room details, which you may use to join.
The safe zone will contract more quickly than normal in order to guarantee action-packed, fast-paced matches during the tournament.
As a result, you won’t be able to stay there for very long and will need to relocate frequently.
Players with less than 30 in-game experience or emulators will not be permitted to participate in the tournament.
Additionally, the rewards will only be available to players of the worldwide edition.
The winner of each match receives 2,125 UC as payment. In addition, seven fortunate players chosen from the top 10 of every match will receive rewards.
One participant will earn an avatar frame and 720 UC in addition to the 660 UC awarded to the other six players. It’s also important to remember that a single participant cannot win several prizes.
