Scout Invitational

Tanmay “Scout” Singh, one of the most well-known names in the Indian gaming industry, shared intriguing news on his official Instagram account.

He challenged aspiring Battlegrounds Mobile India players in a video on his Instagram Story to get ready and form their own teams.

This is so they could compete in his event, the Scout Invitational, which he is holding to highlight up-and-coming talent in the nation.

This competition offers a venue for semi-pros and underdogs of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) to demonstrate their skill and advance their careers.

Here’s all you need to know about the Scout Invitational.

BGMI Scout Invitational

Following Battlegrounds Mobile India’s recent comeback after a nine-month hiatus, this tournament has generated attention in the gaming world.

Many tournament organizers took advantage of the game’s resurgence by conducting tournaments with huge prize pools, making it difficult for many aspiring semi-pro and underdog teams to qualify for these competitive events.

The Scout Invitational, a new competition, is an attempt by Team XSpark founder and co-owner Scout to address this issue.

This tournament is specifically crafted to ensure that every BGMI player around the country is given an opportunity to shine.

Previous iterations

Over 200 semi-pro teams competed in the Scout Invitational Season 1 competition, the event’s previous iteration.

16 of these teams participated in the competition, while the PMPL (PUBG Mobile Pro League) brought in an extra 16 teams.

Scout Invitational Registration Process

Scout provided important information about the next Scout Invitational. This included specifics on qualifiers and the teams that have been invited.

He said that registration will be done via Discord and would be available to any interested teams.

As the matchup between underdogs and seasoned teams promises to be exciting for the spectators, Scout anticipates a significant number of teams to enter the event.

Scout affirmed that any interested teams would be welcome to participate.

Either Villager Esports or Upthrust Esports, two well-known organizations in BGMI esports known for organizing countless events, will be in charge of overseeing the event.

Tournament format

The tournament’s open qualifications, which precede the finals, will last for more than a month, according to Scout.

The grand finals, which are slated to happen in a week, will pit the top 16 teams from the qualifications against 16 invited teams.

The top 16 teams from the existing Skyesports Championship Series (SCS), a BGMI competition with an impressive prize pool of INR 25,00,000, will be directly invited by Scout.

The completion of SCS on June 18 will provide crucial information about how the invited teams are chosen.

Scout said that his own squad, squad Xspark (TX), is totally committed to putting out a great showing in the Skyesports Championship Series 2023.

TX will, however, compete in the Scout Invitational via the open qualifiers if they are unable to place in the top 16 of SCS.

BGMI fans were excited and anticipating what Scout would unveil regarding the next Scout Invitational as he promised his audience that he will do so shortly.

Scout has often expressed his desire to host a competition for young BGMI players alone. The news of the event has generated a lot of interest among gamers around the nation due to his massive fan base.

Scout has assured that he will reveal more details about the Scout Invitational in the coming days. Stay tuned for more details.
