The Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Tournament has reached its Semi Finals stage after a gruelling two days of Quarter Finals.
The top four teams advanced to the competition’s Semifinals following the conclusion of the two-day Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Quarterfinals.
On October 13 and 14, the top four lineups from the Qualifier and 20 invited teams participated in 12 matches. No outlets broadcasted live streams of these earlier stages.
The top four teams from the Quarterfinals will face off against 20 additional invited teams during the Semifinals, which will be held from October 17 to 21.
Notable participants in this stage will involve Team Soul, GodLike, Blind, and GodLike, all of whom were granted direct invitations to the Grand Finals.
Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Quarterfinals
After throwing in amazing efforts throughout their eight games, Team Tamilas took first place. They earned three Chicken Dinners and 123 points. With three victories to its name, WSB Gaming possesses 103 points to its advantage.
Despite not recording a single victory, Team Empire had exceptional consistency in their games and proceeded to finish in third place with 100 points.
This underdog team had also won everyone over early in the BGIS 2023, an acclaimed BGMI event. With two Chicken Dinners and 96 points, Celsius Esports ended fourth. For the Semifinals, these top four lineups are preparing.
Despite generating multiple outstanding performances and earning 93 points, Team Psyche failed to earn a place in the next round.
A widely recognized Indian group dubbed Global Esports almost missed qualifying for the Semifinals by only four points. With 89 points, they finished sixth.
One Chicken Dinner and 87 points were awarded to Glitchx Reborn. The Grand Finals of the BGIS 2023 are presently being contested by this underdog lineup.
The Gujarat Tigers and Revenge Esports each earned 82 points in the Quarterfinals. Owais’ Enigma Gaming team finished 10th with 73 points and was unable to advance to the Semifinals. Team 8Bit scored 66 points to finish in 11th place.
The Quarterfinals proved to be a dismal failure for Team Mayavi – accumulating 22 points after eight games. Growing Strong and Night Owls, two previously popular teams, both struggled in their games and finished in the bottom of the rankings.
Qualified teams for Semi Finals
The top two teams (Team Tamilas and WSB) from the Quarterfinals have been seeded into Group A of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Semifinals, while the third-placed team (Empire) has been designated for Group B. Celsius, who finished fourth overall, will play in Group C.
