According to a press statement from Krafton, all Android users may preload the well-known battle royale game BGMI starting today (May 27).
Even though the game can be downloaded today onwards, it can only be played starting on May 29. The game will be playable and downloadable for iPhone users starting on May 29.
Once the game is released, it will include a new map, in-game events, and other new features.
“We are thrilled to announce that BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA is now available for preload.
We are consistently striving to deliver a smooth gameplay experience to our users and are excited to welcome everyone back,” said Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO, Krafton, Inc. India.
“We once again, thank the authorities and our users for their continued support as we look forward to elevating the gaming experience for our community in India. See you on the battlegrounds!,” Krafton added.

BGMI Preload Available Now
Because Krafton anticipates “an overwhelming number of downloads,” the company will delay BGMI’s release and playability.
According to the company’s news announcement, “this approach ensures players ensures players enjoy the game seamlessly without any interruptions.”
Krafton has also explained that “Few users may have received an automatic update from midnight” and that “this is a part of the preload process, and you have nothing to worry.”
Therefore, if players are unable to download it yet, they should be able to find it on Play Store slowly later in the day.
Owing to the immense popularity of the game, it is evident that many users will be waiting to hit the download button as soon as it goes live.
This may cause certain maintenance and technical issues. Krafton is trying to minimize these issues by bringing in a preload feature.
Android users can go the Play Store and search for BGMI. They can then download the game, albeit they will have to wait till Monday to play it.
