According to a new announcement from Epic Games, Fortnite Trios is back. With the v24.40 patch, the video game developer had eliminated the mode.
Although the update included a new Ranked Mode, Trios were deleted, which caused many players to object.
Thankfully, the three-player game option has been brought back after the makers received criticism from the public.
It’s crucial to remember that Trios is only available in non-competitive settings. This is understandable given the Ranked Mode’s squad size restrictions.
However, players need not worry as Trios could eventually be included in the Ranked Mode by Epic Games.
Keep in mind that the new game mode is still in the early stages of development, so Epic Games may tweak it later.
V24.40 was regarded by many gamers as one of the worst updates. Although introducing the Ranked Mode was a smart decision, few casual gamers were interested in it.
Fortnite Trio mode
Three-player teams were forced to play Squads with three players or locate new teammates when Epic Games discontinued the Trios game option.
Many people requested the creators to bring back the Trios mode as a result of this frustration.
Initially, Fortnite Battle Royale did not have the Trios mode. Prior to becoming fairly permanent, it was first implemented for Ranked Modes.
Nevertheless, despite the fact that many gamers still play it, Epic Games withdrew it because they probably thought it was the least popular mode.
The three-player team option is only accessible in non-competitive playlists, as was previously noted.
This is understandable given that the ranked Battle Royale mode is only present in Duos and that the ranked Zero Build option is only present in that mode.
The good news is that Epic considers suggestions and criticism from the Fortnite community. So, it’s possible that the Trios mode may be included to the Ranked Mode in the future.
