The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is just 2 days away from its inauguration. Several high-profile matches, top-class cricketers and unlimited action will be on display! Teams have already begun their preparations in full swing and coming into IPL 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have the best teams on paper.
RCB lock horns with CSK on 17th April 2023 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and promises to be an absolute crackerjack of a game. The likes of Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Faf Du Plessis and Ben Stokes will go up in action against each other and the stakes of this game are pretty high.
IPL 2023 will be beginning from 31st March 2023 with Gujarat Titans (GT) squaring off against Chennai Super Kings. The match will kick-start the proceedings of this season and will be taking place in the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This stadium also happens to be the biggest cricket stadium in the world.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
With the legendary form Virat Kohli is in, RCB start as one of the top contenders of IPL. The game between RCB and CSK has always been a pulsating one as few of the legends play for these two teams.
The stadiums are always packed, viewership surges to unprecedented levels and supreme level cricketing action are on display. Faf Du Plessis led RCB to the Qualifier 2 last season and would be hoping to get over the final 2 hurdled this time.
In the bowling department, the likes of Wanindu Hasaranga, Mohammad Siraj and Shahbaz Ahmed will be key players to watch out for. The Sri Lanka wily spinner bagged 26 wickets last season and absolutely wreaked havoc.
Chennai Super Kings
With the addition of Ben Stokes, Chennai looks like an absolute beast in IPL 2023. This well might be MS Dhoni’s last IPL season and the franchise would be hoping to win the title for the 5th time and given a fitting farewell to one of the greatest to have ever graced this sport.
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway look like a lethal opening pair and their contributions would be quite handy for the Chennai franchise.
Chennai play the first game of the IPL against the defending champions, Gujarat Titans led by Hardik Pandya.
