On Thursday, May 18, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will play in IPL 2023 match number 65 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Both SRH and RCB previously faced off in game 54 of the previous season, with RCB winning by a huge 67-run margin. When RCB batted first, Skipper Faf’s unbeaten 73-run effort and some strong cameos from middle-order hitters enabled them to score a massive total of 192/3 in just 20 overs.
In reply, Rahul Tripathi erupted, scoring 58 off just 37 balls for SRH, however, the effort was in vain as they lost by a score of 67 runs. Check complete details on SRH vs RCB head-to-head records.
Sunrisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be entering the match after losing their previous match to the Gujarat Titans, the defending champs. They stood eliminated after losing their last encounter, following in the footsteps of Delhi Capitals, the first team to receive an exit tag from the tournament. SRH will look to play spoilsport against the RCB squad.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
On the other side, Royal Challengers Bangalore will enter the match after a standout performance against Rajasthan Royals in their most recent game, winning by a significant margin of 112 runs.
A spot in the top four positions will be guaranteed by two wins in the next two games thanks to a positive NRR they have compared to all other teams after the decisive victory in the previous game, which puts them on the route to the playoffs.
