IPL 2024: DC vs RR Head-to-Head Records In IPL

Date:

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season has been nothing short of exhilarating, with teams battling it out for a spot in the playoffs.

One of the key encounters in this season’s IPL is between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Check DC vs RR head-to-head records and team-wise performances to understand their rivalry better.

Delhi Capitals:

DC started the IPL 2024 season with a mixed bag of results, winning just one out of their first five matches.

However, they bounced back strongly, thanks to some stellar performances from their key players.

DC’s batting unit has been bolstered by the inclusion of young talents like Jake Fraser-McGurk and the resurgence of middle-order stalwarts like Tristan Stubbs and Rishabh Pant.

Pant, in particular, has been in sensational form, scoring 398 runs in 11 matches at a strike rate of 159. With these players firing on all cylinders, DC’s batting looks formidable.

On the bowling front, DC has relied heavily on their spin duo of Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav.

While Axar has been consistent with his performances, Kuldeep has shown flashes of brilliance. However, DC’s pace bowling department has been a cause for concern, with the likes of Trent Boult struggling to find their rhythm.

Rajasthan Royals:

RR, on the other hand, has been one of the standout teams of IPL 2024, with just two losses in their ten matches so far.

Their success can be attributed to a well-balanced team effort, with both their batting and bowling units firing on all cylinders.

RR’s top order comprising Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, and Riyan Parag has been in scintillating form.

Parag, in particular, has been a revelation, scoring over 400 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 160. This top-order firepower has been instrumental in RR’s success this season.

RR’s bowling has been equally impressive, with bowlers like Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal, Sandeep Sharma, and Avesh Khan leading the charge. These bowlers have been effective in stifling opposition batsmen and picking up crucial wickets at key moments.

DC vs RR Head-to-Head Record:

DC and RR have a long-standing rivalry in the IPL, having faced each other multiple times over the years. As of IPL 2024, they have played 28 matches against each other.
