Australia suffers a massive blow as their experienced pacer has been ruled out of the New Year Test after suffering a fall back at his home. James Pattinson, who is part of the Australian squad has suffered an injury and will not be available for the upcoming affairs.

The 30-year-old is part of the Australian side. But, he was not expected to play in the 3rd test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21.
