IND vs ENG 2nd Test: Fan Breaches Bio-bubble, Runs Into Ground To Shake Hands With England Players

India is currently playing the 2nd Test of the four-match series against England. The best thing is that BCCI allowed a certain percentage of spectators to attend the game. And, one of the fans breached bio-bubble in his quest to shake hands with England cricketers on Day-3.

It is known that cricket across the globe is being played under some restrictions in the post-coronavirus era. The players have got strict guidelines from ICC to follow. Meanwhile, the spectators have also got the rules that they need to follow while entering the ground.

Fan Crosses Fence To Meet England Players

As the cricket returned in the country with the ongoing Test series between India and England. The fans also got the first taste of watching a live game from the ground. But, on Day-3 an instance happened that left every individual from hosts and visitors dugout.

Actually, during the lunch break, some of the England players were doing practice on one of the wickets. Meanwhile, a fan climbed a 12-m long fence in order to shake hands with the players. However, every cricketer said no, and that mischievous fan donning the Indian jersey ran back into the stands. Interesting thing was that none of the police officials stopped him from doing the same. Later on, the ground officials and police reacted and took the fan out of the stadium.

Coming onto the match, India looks back on track after a nightmare start to their Day-3 in Chennai. Virat Kohli and Ravi Ashwin have stitched a 95*-run stand. Also, both the players have pulled-off amazing fifties with their willow.

India got off the mark badly on Day-3. They lost the precious wickets of Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Rishabh Pant, Ajinkya Rahane quite early. But, once again Virat Kohli and Ravi Ashwin came in to rescue the side from the early setbacks in the 2nd innings. Now, Team India has taken a mammoth lead of 397 runs.
