The cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the IPL 2021 auction and BCCI will soon announce the final dates for the same. Earlier, there were speculations that the IPL governing council will organize mega-auction ahead of the 14th edition. But, that has not been the case due to less time available.
The AGM was held earlier this year and the decision was taken that the mega-auction will be held next year. Also, the board will inject two more teams into the tournament. Meanwhile, there are speculations that the IPL will be held during the 2nd week of February.
On the other hand, all eight franchises have begun preparing for the upcoming season of cricketing extravaganza. On Thursday, all eight franchises announced the list of players released and retained ahead of the auction.
From CSK to the other seven teams every team has taken some harsh steps in order to increase funds in their purse. And, then they can use that amount in the upcoming players’ market to rope some exciting names in their side.
