Tendulkar’s innings was packed with 12 fours and 3 sixes and he had a strike-rate of 151.51 in this game at the prestigious Wankhede Stadium.

2. 89*-run knock vs Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2010

IPL 2010 was the year when an Indian batter won the Orange Cap (award in IPL for most runs scored in an edition) for the first time. And the recipient was none other than the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar scored 89* runs against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2010 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Mumbai Indians had won that game by 37 runs and the Little Master was adjudged the player of the match.

3. 74-run knock vs Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2012

This was another masterclass of an innings from Sachin Tendulkar’s blazing blade in IPL 2012 against the arch-rivals of Mumbai, Chennai Super Kings (CSK). MI won that game by a slender margin of 2 wickets at the Wankhede Stadium.

Rohit Sharma and Sachin Tendulkar had stitched a fabulous 126-run partnership, which laid the foundation for Mumbai’s victory in that game. Dwayne Smith eventually made sure that Mumbai sail over the finishing line with a blistering cameo of 24* runs in just 9 deliveries.
