And, the latter has pulled himself out of IPL 2020 just 2 weeks before the commencement date.
The veteran Indian spinner was scheduled to reach UAE on September 1. However, it is said that he conveyed his message to the franchise and management that he will not be taking part in the cricketing extravaganza. This is going to be a major setback for Dhoni-led CSK as their main spinner will not be available for the forthcoming season.
Harbhajan Singh quits from IPL 2020
In the previous edition, Harbhajan emerged as one of the most successful spinners for CSK. He took 16 wickets off 11games at a magnificent economy rate of 7.09. There is nothing at the moment going in the favor of Chennai Super Kings. Overall, he has smashed 829 runs and grabber 150 wickets in total 160 appearances.
Earlier,13 members of the CSK squad had tested positive for the coronavirus. At the moment every single franchise has begun with their practice sessions and camps. However, CSK is still due to take part in their very first training session.
This is going to be the 13th successive season which was earlier scheduled to begin in late Match. But, a sudden outbreak of a novel virus splashed water on the hopes of fans.
