Nicholas Pooran has come up with a motivating post and reckoned that he will come back stronger than ever. The southpaw had a poor season with the bat playing for Punjab Kings. He created a new record for scoring diamond duck. Pooran became the first player to do so in IPL history.
The destructive batsman from West Indies had a great season with Punjab based franchise back in 2020. But, he got off to a poor start to his season in the ongoing year. Pooran scored only 28 runs in 7 games and later he was dropped from the side. The left-handed batsman was then replaced by none other than Dawid Malan in the final game of Punjab Kings for IPL 2021.

Recently, ESPNcricinfo shared a creative mentioning all the ducks scored by Nicholas Pooran in IPL 2021. As soon as the West Indian batsman came across that post, he shared it on his official handle as well. Pooran also gave a caption to the post that read, “The suspension of the tournament and the reasons behind it are heartbreaking but necessary. See you soon IPL! In the meantime, I’ll be using this picture as my motivation to come back stronger than ever. Keep safe everyone.”
In an interview, Pooran said that it is heartbreaking to leave as IPL 2021 has been suspended by BCCI due to COVID-19. However, he has promised every Punjab Kings fan that he is going to come up with his best going ahead in the future.
