Shane Watson, the former Aussie player has come out appreciating CSK coach Stephen Fleming and skipper MS Dhoni. The former batsman has been the part of three-time IPL winners since 2018. He has played several remarkable knocks in the past couple of seasons for CSK.

In the ongoing IPL 2020, he had an average of around 13 in the first-four games But, he certainly changed his stats in the game against KXIP. From the very first over, Watson looked in full touch with his willow. He was playing lovely cover drives, pull-strokes. He went not out at the score of 83 runs off 53 balls studded with 11 boundaries and 3 sixes.

After the match, Shane Watson praised MS Dhoni and Stephen Fleming. He said that it is quite incredible to watch that their skipper has full faith in his players. He also added that Dhoni is well aware of the quality and caliber of the players. And, this is the reason why CSK has managed to churn out success over the years in IPL.

“What Fleming and MS Dhoni do, it is incredible. The duo trusts the players; they trust the quality and caliber of their players. They know if they keep the faith, the things will certainly change,” Watson was quoted as saying to Faf in a video uploaded on IPLT20.com, reported by Business World.

Watson also addressed that it was fun to spend some time in the middle with Faf du Plessis. He recited that it was always a change in the mindset that brings the best out of a player. And, the same thing happened with him in the game against Kings XI Punjab.

“It was nice to spend some time with my good mate Faf in the middle. Amazing how a little change in mindset can make a big difference in getting things moving. It was nice to get some winning momentum. The faith that CSK continues to show in their players goes a long way. I love batting with Faf, I do believe that we complement each other really well,” he added.
