S Sreesanth, the right-handed pacer had expected to feature in the IPL 2021. But, he has not been picked by the franchises in the overall list of the players. And, the 38-year-old has given a generous reaction over the same. He wants to look forward and focus on his performances.
The Kerala-born lifetime ban got finished in 2019. And, he featured in four games of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 and grabbed 4 wickets with the ball. He looked in fine touch and bowled some jaw-dropping deliveries in all the games.

The pacer kept his base price INR 75 Lakhs. But, he failed to attract the interests of any of the franchises in the tournament. A total of 1114 players registered in the IPL. And, only 292 could manage to attract the franchise’s interests.
The seamer looked confident and said that nothing can stop him from achieving his targets. As per him, there was something in him due to which he was picked in the Kerala squad for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. And, this has given him enough confidence.
“I am not looking only at Mushtaq Ali but also to win Irani and Ranji. If I do well, I will get more opportunities. I have been getting inquiries for IPL, too, and I have to make sure that I am fit and bowling well,” he stated.
“Certainly. It gave me great pleasure to be among the 13 shortlisted players from Kerala after all these years but my pursuit will not stop if there are no takers for me,” Sreesanth, previously, said.
