The biggest cricket competition in the world is the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Several cricketing legends, like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma, have emerged throughout the event, which began in 2008.

IPL 2023 will mark the 16th iteration of the competition.

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK), one of the IPL’s most successful teams, have a great chance of qualifying for the IPL finals in 2023.

The CSK team will need to have a top bowling attack in order to do that.

Check the top three bowlers who can be used by CSK as death-over specialists during the 2023 IPL season.

These bowlers could be the difference between CSK winning and losing in scenarios where they are needed to go across the finish line.

Over the past few years, Deepak Chahar has emerged as a revelation in the IPL.

He has consistently delivered for the Chennai Super Kings throughout the competition, taking wickets when they were most needed and bowling economical spells.

He is an excellent pick to bowl the death overs because of his ability to throw slower and Yorker-style deliveries, which allow him to easily surprise the batsmen with his variations.

Chahar will be an invaluable asset for CSK in the IPL 2023 because of his past success with death overs.

Mukesh Choudhary

He was an important member of the CSK team in the previous season.

In the dying overs, he is renowned for his ability to bowl accurate yorkers and slower deliveries, and he has had success doing so at the domestic level.

During the IPL 2022 mega auction, Chennai Super Kings paid 20 lahks for him and he was retained for the 2023 edition.

With an average of 17.06 and a 9.32 economy rate in 13 games for CSK, he claimed 16 wickets while playing for the team. He will be sure-shot pick for death over during the IPL 2023 matches.

Sri Lankan fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana, also known as “Baby Malinga,” made headlines last year at the U-19 World Cup.

Pathirana has been a steady performer for his country, and he is famous for his ability to bowl tight death overs.

He can bowl yorkers and mix up diverse deliveries, which makes him the perfect choice for the role of death over specialist for CSK.

The good temperament that Pathirana is known for is also important in the high-stress circumstances of death overs.

Also, he bowls very economically and is able to limit the run rate in the final few overs.

This will be an added benefit for CSK as they will be able to contain their opponents and stop them from scoring runs.
