Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 9 wickets in a statement victory at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. With this loss, KKR have suffered a huge blow to their playoffs qualification scenario and would hope for several results to go there way.
KKR batted first and put on a modest 149 runs on the board. Yuzvendra Chahal spun a web and bamboozled all the KKR batters. The wily leg-spinner bagged 4 wickets and sent chills down the spines of the batters.
