A mini-auction for players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is scheduled for December 23 in Kochi. In contrast to that, during the IPL retention window, 163 players were retained by the franchises whereas 85 players were released.

The big all-rounders Cameron Green of Australia and Sam Curran and Ben Stokes of England’s national cricket teams are among the 21 players whose base bid for the next IPL 2023 auction is INR 2 crore. Additionally, no members of the Indian National Cricket Team are included in the INR 2 crore category.

Fast-bowling overseas all-rounders in particular have always been in high demand at IPL auctions.
