GT vs MI Head-to-Head Records

After losing to Punjab Kings in the previous match, Mumbai Indians (MI) will now travel to Ahmedabad to play Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL 2023 match number 35 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the largest stadium in the world, on April 25, 2023.

When Gujarat Titans made their debut last year, they made a big impression on everyone and went on to win the championship under the leadership of all-arounder Hardik Pandya.

MI, on the other side, had a horrible season, finishing bottom of the standings in position 10 with only four victories in 14 league stage contests. The league’s most successful team would like to recover this year and pursue a sixth championship.

Last season, GT and MI only faced off once, with MI coming out on top by a narrow margin of just five runs. MI scored 177/6 in their allotted 20 overs while batting first. Tim David struck 44* off just 21 while the openers Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma tallied 45 and 43 runs, respectively.

Saha and Gill responded by hitting their respective fifties, but GT was unable to cross the finish line. Ashwin was chosen as the best bowler for his 2/29 spell. Check complete details on GT vs MI head-to-head records.

Gujarat Titans

Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, will be coming into the contest after a magnificent victory over LSG in the previous game. They did the unthinkable task by defending 29 runs in 36 balls against the Lucknow Super Giants. With this, they have four wins out of six games and are currently placed in fourth place in the points table.

Shubman Gill has been their stand-out performer, aggregating 228 runs in as many as six games at an average of 38. In the bowling department, Rashid Khan has accounted for 12 wickets. GT would look to keep the winning momentum going.

Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians came close to a win in their previous game while chasing a massive 215 but lost by a close margin. Despite the loss, the players would see the positives from the game as Suryakumar Yadav gained back his form. Cameron Green too scored a couple of half-centuries, but for MI, Tilak Varma is the go-to man as he has so far aggregated 217 runs in six games played at an average of 43.40. In the bowling department, Piyush Chawla has been brilliant as he accounted for 9 wickets in six games. MI will look to bounce back the winning ways.
