In a bizarre incident today, Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) YouTube channel has been compromised.
Several software download and gaming tutorials were visible on the YouTube channel of the Orange Army.
The last video was which published by the franchise on their official YouTube channel was the jersey launch video, on 16th March 2023. 17th March 2023 didn’t have any video from the franchise.
But 18th March 2023, saw a total of 29 videos being posted. Some of the videos entail the process to download software like Spotify, CorelDraw, Sony Vegas Pro 20, Adobe Premiere and Canva.
There is also a video that shows how to crack the premium version of Spotify Premium.
The first video by the hacker was uploaded approximately at 3:00 AM (IST).
This was in the wee hours of 18th March 2023. As of now, there has been no official statement from the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise.
The 2016 IPL winners recently posted their jersey launch video and the video had 3 players.
The players involved were Mayank Aggarwal, Umran Malik and Washington Sundar.
It was well received by the fans and the sentiment around the jersey has been very positive so far.
Sunrisers Hyderabad kick-start their IPL campaign on 2nd April when they lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR).
The match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Aiden Markram will be captaining SRH in IPL 2023
South African compact and solid middle-order batter Aiden Markram was appointed the skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad on 23rd February 2023.
Notably, Markram had recently guided Sunrisers Eastern Cape to the title of the 1st edition of the SA20 league.
Hyderabad had secured the services of Aiden Markram for a sum of Rs. 2.6 crores in the mega auction of IPL 2022.
The stylish and flamboyant batter scored 381 runs in IPL 2022 and had an average of 47.63.
A rock-solid batter, Aiden Markram will be a force to reckon with in the SRH team in the upcoming IPL.
