The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 has drawn its curtains and it was a fabulous tournament. 74 matches of high-end action and then we had a one-sided final between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Opening the batting of the best IPL 2024 XI will be Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad. While the former Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) skipper won the Orange Cap for scoring 741 runs, Ruturaj Gaikwad finished as the 2nd highest run-getter with 583 runs.
Both the openers were in sublime form in IPL 2024 and did wonders for their respectively IPL teams in this cash-rich league.
Top-Order: Travis Head, Riyan Parag and Sunil Narine
Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma formed a lethal pair at the top for Sunrisers Hyderabad and time and again gave the Orange Army, some fiery starts in the powerplay. Head finished with 567 runs in IPL 2024.
On the other hand, Sunil Narine had a fairytale IPL 2024. He bagged the Most Valuable Player award in IPL 2024 and contributed with the bat and with the ball. Riyan Parag had a coming-of-age season for Rajasthan Royals (RR) and reposed the faith of the RR management by scoring 573 runs.
Middle-Order: Heinrich Klaasen and Shashank Singh
The middle-order of the best XI of IPL 2024 will be packed with right-handed batters in the form of Heinrich Klaasen and Shashank Singh. The South African explosive wicket-keeper batter scored 479 runs while Shashank Singh hogged the limelight for his invaluable performances with the bat for Punjab Kings.
Even though Punjab couldn’t qualify for the playoffs, Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma emerged out as shining lights. Singh mustered 354 runs in IPL 2024 and finished as the leading wicket-taker of Punjab Kings.
Bowlers: Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah and Mustafizur Rahman
The bowling department of the best XI of IPL 2024 will have Jasprit Bumrah, Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mustafizur Rahman. Chahal had a breakthrough season in IPL 2024 and that earned him a spot in India’s squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
Harshal Patel had a terrific season with the white-cherry and finished with 24 wickets and also bagged the Purple Cap.
