The 18th edition of the IPL Auction is set to take place on 24-25 November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The BCCI recently released a list of 574 players in the auction. James Anderson (42y 3m)
England’s James Anderson retired from international cricket in July 2024. Fans were surprised to see his name on the auction list because he played his last T20 match in 2014 for Lancashire in the T20 Blast. For England, he played an international match in 2009. For the first time in IPL history, he put his name in for the IPL auction. But it will not be surprising if CSK bids for this legendary test specialist. RCB released South African batter Faf du Plessis during the retention period. He has already played for 3 franchises in the IPL. Mohammad Nabi (39y 10m)

Nabi’s off-break bowling ability, flight variations, and strong power-hitting make him a perfect T20 all-rounder.
