Rajasthan Royals came with a big surprise for their fans as they announced Yuzvendra Chahal as their skipper for the upcoming edition. In the previous edition, Sanju Samson led Rajasthan based franchise and they finished in the 7th position. With a new look and some new additions now they will be looking to grab their second IPL trophy in the 15th edition.

Royals bought Yuzvendra Chahal at a whopping fee of INR 6 Crores. He played for Royal Challengers Bangalore for a total of 8 seasons before he was released by the Bangalore-based franchise into the IPL 2022 mega-auction. The star player is reckoned as one of the best spinners of Indian Premier League history. So far he has grabbed 139 wickets in 114 IPL games at a brilliant economy rate.
