Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) made significant moves during the IPL 2025 auction, aiming to finally secure their first title in the Indian Premier League. 

RCB strategically bolstered its squad with a mix of established stars and promising newcomers during the IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah.

RCB entered the auction with a substantial budget of ₹83 crore, retaining three key players: Virat Kohli (₹21 crore), Rajat Patidar (₹11 crore), and Yash Dayal (₹5 crore). 

This left them with a purse of ₹30.65 crore for new signings, which they utilized effectively to enhance their lineup.

2. Phil Salt (WK-Batter, England) – ₹11.50 crore
3. Jitesh Sharma (WK-Batter, India) – ₹11 crore
4. Josh Hazlewood (Bowler, Australia) – ₹12.5 crore
5. Rasikh Dar (Bowler, India) – ₹6 crore
6. Suyash Sharma (Bowler, India) – ₹2.6 crore

These acquisitions are expected to add depth to both the batting and bowling departments, with Hazlewood bringing experience to the pace attack and Livingstone adding firepower to the batting lineup.
