It was a run-fest the previous night when Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians came face to face. Both the teams scored the same runs in the stipulated 20 overs. And, the game was decided in Tie-breaking Super Over. In the end, RCB successfully managed their second win of the tournament after Virat Kohli smacked a four on the final delivery off Jasprit Bumrah. After the game, Anushka Sharma, the Bollywood actress and better half of Indian skipper came out with a hilarious reaction on social media.

Virat Kohli led side scored 201 runs in their innings. AB de Villiers, Aaron Finch, and Devdutt Padikkal scored amazing fifties that helped RCB in posting a mammoth total on the scoreboard. Once again Kohli failed to score good runs with the bat. However, still, RCB was in a comfortable position to win the game.

But, Mumbai Indians batsman Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard batted superbly against RCB. They made the mockery of the bowlers and hammered them for runs all across the park. Although, the ground was quite big. But, that was not a concern for Kishan and Pollard. The duo was smacking sixes with ease. Finally, the match entered into the Super Over and RCB finally notched an easy win courtesy to Navdeep Saini’s superb bowling in pressure conditions.

After the conclusion of the game, Anushka Sharma took to her official social media account and shared a story with her fans. She shared a collage of RCB’s winning moments with a hilarious caption in which she wrote, “Phew Too exciting a game for a pregnant lady. What a team this one.”

She recently hit the spotlight after giving an emphatic reply to Sunil Gavaskar’s bad comment on her and Virat Kohli. She took to her official Instagram handle and shared a story in which she said, “That, Mr Gavaskar, your message is distasteful is a fact but I would love for you to explain why you thought of making such a sweeping statement on a wife accusing her for her husband’s game? I’m sure over the years you have respected the private lives of every cricketer while commentating on the game.”
