Punjab Kings pacer Arshdeep Singh is having a fine season with the ball. He has emerged as one of the death overs for the 2014 finalists. The left-handed pacer bowled a brilliant penultimate over against MS Dhoni that put PBKS in a position of winning the match.
Although, his bowling was one the positive for Punjab against CSK. Meanwhile, one instance that got viral across all the social media channels was his celebration after taking the wicket of Mitchell Santner.
PBKS managed a decent total of 188 runs in 20 overs as Shikhar Dhawan scored a remarkable knock of 88 runs for the side. Coming to chase, CSK didn’t get to a good start and they lost their in-form batsman Robin Uthappa in the 2nd over of the innings.

Mitchell Santner came out to bat at number three for CSK. He was sent to click some good sixes with the bat. But, due to poor conditions for batting, it became difficult for him to smash the PBKS bowlers all across the park.
In the 6th over, Arshdeep bowled a brilliant length delivery and disturbed Santner’s woodwork. After taking the wicket, the Punjab bowler was spotted doing a “chariot celebration” that even left the Punjab Kings dugout in the split.
Post-match, South African pacer Kagiso Rabada lavished praise on the Indian domestic cricketer. He even said that Arshdeep Sing is by far the best death bowler of IPL 2022, who has an economy of 5.22.
Coming to CSK’s chase, Ambati Rayudu played exceptionally well with his willow. He mustered 78 runs off 39 balls with the help of 7 boundaries and 6 sixes.
