Indian Premier League 2022 season is all set to begin from 26th March with the opener to be played between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. Broadcasters had launched a campaign #AbYehNormalHain ahead of the tournament featuring CSK skipper MS Dhoni. The advertisement hogged the spotlight due to the appearance of India’s former skipper.
Now, they have launched another promo featuring Dhoni in a totally new avatar. The CSK skipper has been given an old man look. He got a call on his telephone while he was watching an IPL game. And, he hilariously asks his daughter to make an excuse to the person on the other side of the call.
The IPL promo ended with MS Dhoni saying that “Aisi Bahanebaaz Ab Normal Hain”. Now, the cricketing fraternity is waiting for another intriguing promo that is expected to go on air in the upcoming days.
IPL 2022 opening game will be played between CSK and KKR at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. As per the schedule, a total of 20 games will be played at Wankhede Stadium & DY Patil Stadium, 15 games each at Brabourne and MCA International Stadium in Pune.
The league stage of the 15th edition will mark its end with the game between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings on 22nd May in Mumbai at Wankhede Stadium.
