ISL 2022-23: Hyderabad FC Rack Up 3 More Points Against Jamshedpur

Hyderabad FC win ISL

Hyderabad FC registered yet another win in the Indian Super League (ISL) as they beat Jamshedpur FC 1-0 at the Furnace. They registered their 4th consecutive victory in the ISL 2022-23 and now are 7 points clear at the top of the ISL points table.

Mohammad Yasir scored the goal for the Nizams right after the first half to power Hyderabad FC to the lead. It was the solitary goal scored in the match. ISL 2022-23 has witnessed several nail-biting encounters and this is another addition to that list.

Jamshedpur FC had made a lot of changes to their side which tasted defeat against FC Goa. Pratik Chaudhari was brought back into the defense department of the Miners and the likes of Harry Sawyer, Laldinpuia Pachuau and Jay Thomas had started the game for Jamshedpur FC at the J.R.D. Tata Sports Complex in Ranchi in the ongoing ISL 2022-23.

Jamshedpur FC also made a substitution for their goalkeeper and brought in Anuj Kumar. There was a chance for Jamshedpur FC right sometime after that after a cross from Boris Singh reached Harry Sawyer as he nudged it to Peter Hartley. But Hartley did not have a lot of power on the shot he had taken and it was saved by the new keeper, Anuj Kumar.

Hyderabad FC has been an extremely dominant side in the ongoing ISL 2022-23 and has a 7-point clearance over the next team, which is FC Goa. In 6 matches, Manolo Marquez’s side has registered 16 points and 5 wins. They most certainly are performing like their last season and would be hoping to successfully be the first ISL team to defend their title.

Hyderabad FC next crosses swords with Kerala Blasters on November 19, 2022. Jamshedpur FC on the other hand plays Chennaiyin FC on the same day.
