India had previously defeated Pakistan in the T20 World Cup final, which took place in 2017.

Champions were ruthless

The third competition, which was hosted by India, featured teams from Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa, and Sri Lanka. The victorious team entered the championship game fresh off a thumping victory over South Africa. The champs were brutal throughout the season. India crushed the Proteas by a large margin of 207 runs at the Samprasiddhi Sports Ground in Bangalore after setting a high target of 338 runs.

India’s biggest victory of 2022

This victory is also being referred to be the biggest win of 2022. This year’s World Cup saw both the senior men’s squad and the women’s team struggle to compete well. The Under-19 squad also undoubtedly succeeded in capturing the championship at the same time. The ODI World Cup has been twice been won by India’s blind squad.
