Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian opener has attracted an unwanted controversy by feeding a migratory bird in Varanasi and things might get worse for the southpaw in the upcoming days. A complaint has been filed in his name for violating the law.
The limited-overs opener returned from Australia tour after a successful stint. He was in top-notch form with the bat against Baggy green and amassed 120 runs in three ODIs. He was not part of the Test squad and returned back to India. After the competition of quarantine, he traveled to Varanasi for a trip.

More Problems For Shikhar Dhawan On the Way
He spent some good time in Varanasi that brought bad news for the southpaw. Dhawan recently took to his official Instagram handle and shared a still in which he can be spotted feeding a migratory bird. Later on, he received lots of criticism from the fans for doing in conditions when bird flu is getting spread quite quickly.
The criticism was not limited to social media and a person filed a complaint in the court of Judicial Magistrate Divakar Kumar against the cricketer Shikhar Dhawan in this case. The Varanasi court has fixed a date of February 6 to check if the complaint should be considered or not.
And, if things didn’t go down well and the court takes the complaint into consideration then Shikhar Dhawan might get stuck in some serious problem. He will be spotted back in action against England during the ODI and T20I series. The southpaw is not part of the Test squad that will lock horns with three lions in the series opener of the Test series starting on February 5, 2021, at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
