He stands third in the hat-trick leader board after his predecessors, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan. In the middle of his rising excellence, he has been increasingly criticized for his bowling strategies. The former Indian player, Gavaskar, also backed him up, sayings that such people need to have their eyes examined. As Bumrah’s performance hit the screens, Gavaskar pointed out that Bumrah’s arm was completely straight with no bends.
