IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2022: 3 milestones Virat Kohli might surpass this Sunday

Virat Kohli Milestone

The talented Indian batsman, Virat Kohli is all set to become just the second player in the history of international cricket to play 100 games in each format. In the history of cricket, Ross Taylor of New Zealand was the first cricketer to reach the milestone in 2020.

Earlier this year, when India was touring England, Kohli last participated in a T20I match. Due to his recent struggles to find runs, he hasn’t been in the finest of shape. However, a lot would be expected of the seasoned batter given his average in Asia Cups, which was above 60.

Due to his absence from the limited-overs series against Zimbabwe and the West Indies, Kohli had previously taken a break. Before the T20 World Cup 2022, which is slated to take place in Australia later this year, he will be trying to accumulate some runs.

Virat Kohli has been having a hard spell, therefore the cricketing world is hoping for a swift turnaround in his form. Kohli’s last century came during India’s home Day-Night Test in 2019. Since then, his performance has only deteriorated. Ahead of Kohli’s 100 international T20 matches, it is expected that Kohli will achieve some big milestones in the IND vs PAK match.

Here are some upcoming Virat Kohli milestones ahead of the Asia Cup:

2 – Virat Kohli is ready to become only the second player, after Ross Taylor of New Zealand, to play 100 matches in all three formats of international cricket.

7 – Virat Kohli needed just 7 Sixes more to complete 100 maximums. The only Indian player with 100 or more sixes in T20Is is Rohit Sharma.

374 – Runs Virat Kohli needs to become the 1st Indian to 11,000 runs in T20 cricket

For the Men in Blue, Kohli is expected to bat at No. 3, with KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma likely to open the innings.
