BCCI has recently announced India’s squad for the upcoming T20I series against West Indies, which begins on July 29. Rohit Sharma will lead the side. Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have been left out of the 18-man squad for the T20I series against West Indies, according to The Indian Express.

Keeping workload management in mind, the selectors have given Bumrah a rest. Bumrah has been playing non-stop cricket and the Indian team will play a few more series before the T20 World Cup, so the selectors decided to give him a break.
The five-match T20I series against West Indies will begin on July 29, and Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, and Ishan Kishan are all on the squad. The ODI series that precedes the T20Is will begin on July 22 and consist of three matches.
Earlier, the squad for the ODI series against West Indies was named and the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and Jasprit Bumrah were all rested. Veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan will lead the team in the ODIs.
