RCB Impact Players

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of the strongest teams in the IPL. In order to create a successful team for the 2023 season, RCB will need to find and enlist a few impact players who can aid them in their ascent to the top.

In the upcoming IPL 2023 auction, Royal Challengers Bangalore will look to fill seven positions while keeping 18 players on the roster. They still need to fill the players with their 8.75 Crore remaining purse. A team must contain a minimum of 25 players for each team.

RCB’s recruitment strategy should focus on finding players that have the potential to make an immediate and lasting impact on the team. This could include players that have dynamic batting abilities, the ability to take wickets with their bowling, and those that are reliable in the field.

The “Impact Player Rule” is a new regulation that the BCCI will implement in the forthcoming season. The regulation has been approved for implementation in the IPL after initially being tested in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali competition.

Both teams must declare four substitutions or impact players along with their starting XI at the time of the toss in accordance with the rules. The impact player will be able to bat and bowl his full allotted number of overs and can replace any starting XI player at any time up until the completion of the 14th over of either inning. The substituted player is no longer permitted to participate in the game.

According to the BCCI, the “Impact Player” rule solely applies to Indian players. Know the 3 RCB players who can be used as Impact Players during the IPL 2023.

Dinesh Karthik

Karthik can be used as an impact player because he is the team’s established finisher. When given the chance to play international cricket, he was unable to fully match his IPL performance. He represented India in both the T20 World Cup and the Asia Cup, although he was unable to produce any memorable innings. His final campaign in the league may be the IPL 2023.

Rajat Patidar

Patidar contributed significantly to RCB’s final season. He participated in 8 games for the team as a late substitution. He scored 333 runs, including a knock of 112 in Bangalore’s most recent game against the Lucknow Super Giants. In qualifier 2, which Rajasthan Royals ultimately won, he scored 58. He has the potential to be an impact player for RCB.

Shabaz Ahmed, an all-rounder, might be the final player on this list. He appeared in a couple of cameos with Dinesh Karthik in the previous season. If he is employed as an impact player, he can make a difference with both the bat and the ball. The Bengal all-rounder made his white-ball debut against South Africa recently.
