IPL 2023 Auction: 3 South African Players To Watch For
#1 Reeza Hendricks
The South African side has depended heavily on Reeza Hendricks for a very long time. The 33-year-old has solidified his place at the top of the list for his country’s side by demonstrating his strength on the international stage.
In 48 T20I games, Hendricks has scored 1372 runs at a strike rate of 125.41. In T20I games, Hendricks has demonstrated his ability to quickly switch gears when necessary, and IPL sides may attempt to recruit the star batter in the upcoming auction.
#2 Tabraiz Shamsi
Shamsi would add variation to the bowling unit because left-arm wrist spinners in international cricket are a rare breed. He has many different weapons at his disposal, making it challenging for opposing batters to attack him.
He is capable of playing in the playing XI as a specialist spinner. He last participated in the IPL in 2021 for the Rajasthan Royals, and he was promptly let go before the following season. The left-arm wrist spinner has 73 wickets and a 7.14 economy rate in 59 T20 International games.
Rilee Rossouw
Rilee Rossouw was selected for the national T20I team after slamming 623 runs in 16 innings during T20 Blast 2022 at an extravagant strike rate of 192.28. Since his return, he has scored 372 runs at an average of 46.50 in 10 T20I innings. He can get high bids during the IPL 2023 auction due to his aggressive approach while scoring runs.
